Brown and Blueprint is a student-led comprehensive initiative to address spatial inequity on campus. Find out what spatial inequity looks like and why we're listening here.

These listening sessions will result in a comprehensive assessment and review of physical space & community building needs on campus. Here's what to expect.

Check back here to stay updated on what students are saying during listening sessions. Each week, we'll be sharing memos on what we hear.

Construction plans for upperclass housing are underway. Let's shape a vision for how the Village can be a center for creative, co-responsible social living!

ABOUT US

Brown & Blueprint is a TCU Senate initiative started in response to the "Student Life Review Committee Report," which addresses challenges to and opportunities for a vibrant and diverse social life at Tufts.

Whereas the SLRC Report provides a general overview of the direction in which Tufts should head regarding social spaces, this initiative aims to:

document and review the specific physical space needs and spatial inequities experienced by Tufts students, providing a concrete framework of steps the university should address to invest equitably in social spaces for all students.

This is an initiative born out of the TCU Senate Administration and Policy Committee, as well as TCU President Benya Kraus' presidential platform and Urban Studies Senior Capstone.

Members of the Administration and Policy Committee include:

Jamie Neikrie, A18 Chair

Benya Kraus, A18

Fatima Ajose, A18

Nathan Foster, A18

Jordan Kemp, A18
